30 Restored Karoo style cottages, each decorated in its own distinctive theme of period prints and antique furniture to reflect an atmosphere of understated elegance, reminiscent of the lifestyles of the English and Dutch Settlers at the turn of the century.
The hotel, a Victorian manor at the end of the street, has a further 21 rooms similarly done. Sherry is served in the lounge before buffet dinners is served. Dinner is a country affair, an indulgence of superb traditional Karoo and South African cuisine.
Cradock is home the Mountain Zebra Park; enjoy a morning or afternoon game drive through the most scenic park in South Africa. For a cultural experience visit the local Township home to the Cradock Four or visit the rock art left by the San centuries ago.
